Until then, many of the baths in Budapest fulfilled a gay function. With our arrival, as well as changes in the ways gay men meet in Budapest, the gay aspects of baths became less and less, and the importance of gay saunas in Budapest grew as a safe and hygienic place for gay men to meet and cruise. Every year, we have expanded or renovated our sauna to provide gay men in Budapest and visitors to the city, an experience equal to any gay sauna in the world. We provide everything except a jakuzzi (which we hope to soon ad) including the city’s biggest gay steam room which we just renovated and expanded in the Spring of 2011. Today, there are many ways for gay men to get together in Budapest, and all have their advantages and disadvantages. - Almost all inclusive: your entry price includes the use of the steam room, sauna, workout room, internet, TV room, video room and all the cabins.
- For a little bit more: you can use the solarium, get a professional massage by a gay man or drink something at the bar.
When is the best time to come?
Gay men in Budapest visit saunas much like anywhere else in the world. We have guests every time of the day, but when to come partly depends on what you like:
- Everyday after work is always the busiest and we still have a good crowd just before closing.
- Afternoons sees a lot of bisexual Budapest guys looking for a discreet gay partner.
- Wednesday is our discount day for everyone over thirty, so that is also a good day to visit.
- Friday is our second most popular day with our now infamous „Dark and Naked” party starting at 10 pm.
- Saturday is our busiest day, thanks to our parties starting at 8 pm. For details, check the agenda.
- Sunday in the late afternoon is very pleasant as gay guys catch some rest and relaxation before the start of the week.
